My husband and I both have sensitive skin so we knew we especially needed a sensitive laundry soap for our infant. When looking at the brands available and designed for babies, they still held ingredients such as c10-16 alkyldimethylamine oxide, propylene glycol, and tetrasodium glutamate diacetate. I don't know about you, but I have zero idea what those ingredients are.
During my search, I found a laundry powder by a company called Pronounce. The ingredient list consisted of washing soda, baking soda, epsom salt, soapberries, enzymes, and lavender oil. These are all items I personally had a better understanding of and was much more comfortable using on my babies clothes.
After washing all babies clothes, I can attest that the smell is subtle and clean and I have not noticed a difference in my husband and I's clothes so I feel it creates the same cleanness that a traditional laundry soap offers. This one is just a safe laundry soap for infants as well.
